Not taking his foot off the gas for one moment, Heist's anthemic release 'Unicron' / 'Mothership' sold out promptly upon its promo run and is now available on full release via his own label Sumo Beatz. With the Drum & Bass Awards over for another year, Innovation are once again proud to announce a number of gongs on behalf of both our agency artists and the sister promotional force too. Leading the ranks is our hard-working Best Breakthrough DJ award winner Ruffstuff, deservedly recognised after years of perseverance all over the world representing V, Chronic and Movement. Graduating to the position of Best Producer is Original Sin, who also collected the award for his club anthem 'Therapy' which emerged victorious in the 'Track of the Year' category. Elsewhere the perenially-decorated MC Skibadee won two more titles, collecting the 'Best Hype MC' trophy together with the much-deserved 'Lifetime Achievement' title for 2010, crowning an enormously successful period at the top of the vocal game in Drum & Bass. Finally, we are happy to announce that Innovation Events also collected the prizes for 'Best Promoter' and 'Best Event' for Innovation In The Sun 2009.

Zen tracks featured on new ATM mix CD for 2010

2010 sees two tracks by Agency starlet Zen featured in Drum & Bass journal ATM's new mix CD, mixed by DJ Logan D. 'Boom Box' has already received widespread support including the accolade of 'Rewind Track' on Fabio and Grooverider's Radio 1 show, while seminal Zen track 'In Full Effect' gets the remix treatment from Ganja star Crystal Clear. The latter is now available to buy in all the usual stores.

Jaydan EP lands and in turn graces us with one of the biggest releases of 2009

Having enjoyed constant rotation from nigh-on every single DJ of dancefloor beats, this is a release that needs no introduction. While the title track hits home in the customary fashion of an artist making the step up to the mighty Ganja Recordings imprint, the other tracks on this release have caused every bit as much of a stir, showcasing Jaydan's diversity in droves. 'Something For The Man Dem' and 'Ghetto' both reference some serious Jungle vibes in a 2009 style while Headzy roller 'Shadows' growls along sinisterly, showcasing this producer's darker side with some panache.

Further new names welcomed to our roster; Foxy and Twisted Individual get on board

The close of 2009 sees our numbers swell further with the addition of two more stalwarts of the scene to our ranks. Winner of Best MC at the Knowledge Magazine awards, MC Foxy's militant MC style has rendered him a firm favourite in the vocal ranks for some years as he continues to lay down his heavyweight vocal presence at raves up and down the land. Elsewhere, a new addition to our DJ ranks arrives in the form of the mighty Twisted Individual. Little needs to be said about a man almost singularly responsible for the progression of Nu Skool Jumpup in the last seven to eight years; an illustrious career in Drum & Bass has provided two many highlights to list and with full steam ahead for 2009 with the relaunch of Grid Recordings, Twisted is very much a man on the pulse.

IAM superstars emerge victorious in 2009's Drum & Bass Arena Awards

We proudly announce further victories for our artists at this year's second major Awards ceremony, held by Drum & Bass Arena at London's Ministry of Sound. MC Skibadee added another 'Best MC' trophy to his already considerable collection, while Harry Shotta's place in the ascendancy was cemented by the 'Best Newcomer MC' award to add to that he picked up earlier this year at Raveology's awards. Elsewhere, French act Dirtyphonics picked up the 'Best New Producer' title to cap what has been a triumphant year for the five lads from Paris... Keep a watchful eye out, this is only the start!

French Drum & Bass starlets Dirtyphonics join IAM for UK and European bookings

Our most recent addition are new kids on the block Dirtyphonics, a French outfit first brought to prominence in their signing to Shimon’s label Audio Porn. Having hit home hard with anthems ‘French F*ck’ and ‘The Quarks’ and gained DJ support from the likes of Andy C, Ed Rush & Optical, Sub Focus and even Pete Tong, their main appeal in fact lies in their breathtakingly original live show. Incorporating two DJs on four decks and two mixers together with two others on drum machines, filter and effects units, the frenzied hosting of group MC Youthstar adds the finishing touch to a spectacularly talented collective that we truly believe can take the centre stage as Drum & Bass’ next great band. Book Dirtyphonics’ live act exclusively in the UK through us, and check them out in action by clicking here.

Heist joins IAM agency for 2009

IAM welcome to the agency a rising star on both the DJ and production front whose startling adaptability in the studio has rendered him the latest in line to engineer the productions of none other than Goldie! Representing Metalheadz, Ganja, his own label Co-Lab as well as a whole host of others on the solo front, Heist’s trademark individual production style has seen all his tunes grace the bags of big dancefloor DJs across every subgenre of Drum & Bass; meanwhile, his creative and tight DJ skills see his mixing in demand inside the UK and out.

Shimon announces the fifth release on his Audio Porn label

Ram Raider Shimon brings you the latest release on his new Audio Porn imprint, the hotly-awaited Quarks EP showcasing a selection of artists both up-and-coming and established artists. French outfit Dirty Phonics lay down the beats for the title track, having found its way into the box of many A-list DJ's across the Drum & Bass scene; elsewhere, tracks by Disaszt, Shimon himself, award winning female vocalist Tali and last but not least Ram Trilogy complete this EP's all-star lineup.

Innovation Artist Management stars recognised at the Drum & Bass Awards

Innovation Artist Management is proud to announce representation for our artists in several winning categories at the recent Drum & Bass Awards in Birmingham!

Nu Skool king of the dancefloor Original Sin walked away with not one but two awards, picking up the accolades for best breakthrough DJ and producer respectively. With a hectic DJ schedule taking his sound all over the UK and beyond, IAM are proud to support this new superstar’s ascendance.

Meanwhile Skibadee affirmed his perennial domination of the MC scene with yet another two awards to add to the collection, completing a formidable double of the best lyrical and hype MC trophies. Not one to rest on his laurels, Skibadee plans to progress after conquering both of these fields and spread his wings to the deeper side of Drum & Bass in 2009, honing his abilities as a polished host MC together with his more recognised talents; IAM agency will be offering deals to relevant promoters accordingly. New addition to the agency Harry Shotta also topped off a fine year with recognition as the best breakthrough MC, his tutorship under the watchful eye of Skibadee as part of the Uncz clique showing itself as time definitively well spent.

Finally we are proud to announce the award for our sister company Innovation in the best event category, the hugely successful ‘Innovation In The Sun’ festival enjoying further recognition as the world’s leading Drum & Bass holiday.
